President Donald Trump is an answer to prayers...
... to restore integrity to the institutions of the United States.
In previous administrations, most institutions were turned into weapons against individuals and corporations
with political differences.
... to restore Religious Liberty, which had been under attack, to private individuals and groups.
... to appoint Justices at all levels more or less Constitutionally minded and supportive of the Ten Commandments,
specifically 'thou shalt not kill (innocent babies)'.
Many fasted and prayed in 2016 and in 2024 and God heard their prayers.
President Trump is not intimidated by anyone and that is exactly what was needed (even if his tweets may be cringe worthy or pointed at times). He has performed excellently amidst constant attacks unlike any other previous President endured.
His enemies are planning to deliver crushing legal and political defeats, even Impeachment if they get the chance as well as prosecuting loyal supporters. The temptation is to be angry with the enemies of President Trump, but remember we are called to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors (we who have seen the light were once rebellious and heading down the wide road ourselves). Rather than despair let us prepare in this time of tribulation and purification to draw near to God with the knowledge that a new springtime will emerge soon, and let us put things in God's hands, since "vengeance is mine, says the Lord".
'If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone. Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” On the contrary, “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in so doing, you will heap burning coals on his head.” Romans 12:18-20
"Vengeance is Mine; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; for their day of disaster is near, and their doom is coming quickly." Deut 32:35
'David added, "As surely as the LORD lives, the LORD Himself will strike him down; either his day will come and he will die, or he will go into battle and perish. But the LORD forbid that I should stretch out my hand against the LORD's anointed. Instead, take the spear and water jug by his head, and let us go."' 1 Samuel 26:10-11
[ David was indeed right - Saul and his sons were later killed on the battlefield, and David was made King.]
